Colorful, Student-Friendly Design for Language Assessment Awareness

To support student understanding and engagement with the Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS), I created a vibrant and informative brochure tailored primarily for English learners in grades 2–12. While the brochure also included key information for parents, the main focus was on helping students feel confident and informed about the assessment process.

The brochure featured:

• Bright, playful visuals to make the content approachable and fun.

• Simplified explanations of what TELPAS is, why it matters, and how students can prepare.

• Bilingual content in English and Spanish to ensure accessibility for all families.

• Encouraging messages to help students feel supported and motivated.

This project allowed me to combine my graphic design skills with educational outreach, creating materials that not only informed but also inspired students to take pride in their language development journey.
